New Years Activity Mats

January 1, 2022 No Comments

Happy New Year! New Year, new goals! Every year I say I’m going to eat healthy and exercise, well like many others I seem to start out strong but after a few weeks I go back to my normal eating habits and less exercise! I don’t have horrible eating habits but I just love to snack! So this year it’s going to be different. I’m going to really try to eat healthy snacks rather than grab a handful or four of Pirate Booty or Goldfish just because it’s there!! So we will see! I’d love to hear about some of your healthy eating habits or what works for you.

Speaking of the New Year, I wanted to create some resources that you may find helpful for you at home with your children or to use in your classroom. SInce many people enjoyed my Thanksgiving Placemats I thought I’d create some New Years ones. My kids loved these on NYE before we sat down for dinner. There are 3 different versions to choose from depending on the age of your children.

Happy New Year!

I have also included 2 pages where students will draw and write about their New Year’s Resolution and 3 Goals for 2022. Let’s kick off the New Year right!

Another favorite packet of my students is this New Years Packet 2022. It’s a great way for your students to reflect on last year and make goals for the new year. Here’s a quick look at what is included in this packet:

  • Color by Code – Numbers 1 – 6
  • Color by Sum – Sums up to 6
  • Let’s Celebrate the New Year
  • Draw & Write – Favorite Memory of 2021
  • Draw & Write – What would you like to do in 2022?
  • Draw & Write – My New Year’s Resolution
  • January Calendar Page – Fill in the dates & draw a picture
  • Building Words from Happy New Year
  • Trace, Write, & Color – 2022

You may also enjoy these Color by Number pages for morning work, independent work, or center time. Just click here to check them out.

Happy New Year!!!
